How To Get A Perfect Hair Cut Evaluation

How do you developed your skills?:

Before I started to do my tutorial, I did a practice video of the tutorial of the same subject, which is about how to cut hair. The only issue that the practice video had is that it was only 8 seconds long, which wasn't a propriate duration for a tutorial and I made another video with new clips and longer duration. By doing this practice videos before the real thing also helped me on my editing skills and I only had a few problems while editing but it was sorted at the end.

What elements you have improved on?:

The elements that I improved on were the duration. The practice video was only 8 seconds long and the clips that I used wasn't all that great. But the ones that I used for the real thing was way better because there was a manikin as our customer and also there was a guy called Mark came to our college as our barber. The group that I was in filmed a lot of clips that I would be needing for the tutorial such as the equipment etc and the video end up being more 2 minutes long.

How have you taken feedback on board?:

The feedback that I have received about my 8 second video were pretty helpful. One of the feedbacks was about my duration and that I should extend it and that's what I did in the end.

How have you responded to setbacks, or had to amend ideas?:

I responded to those setbacks by changing few things on my work like adding more texts to make it more informative and also making the video a bit longer so my viewers can learn even more of what I include on my tutorial.

How do you feel you have met the brief?:

I have met the brief by explaining the client, and that's Barbering Promotional Campaign and my target audience which are the ones who are interested to learn how to cut hair and becoming professional barbers. Also I have met the brief by making a tutorial video about how to get a perfect haircut for that intended target audience.

Is there anything you would have done differently or better?:

The only thing that I could done differently or better is to add more steps in to make it more informative and helpful to my viewers.

Did you encounter any problems with the production of your tutorial and how did you overcome them?:

The problems that I encountered during making of this tutorial video was mainly forgetfulness because sometimes I forget how to export the video at times but I got help from the teacher and a friend and hopefully I should be able to remember this in future projects.

What have you learnt from the experience in its entirety? What would you continue to do or do differently given a second opportunity?:
