AC2: Problem Solving
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IsAER9ISrU
The video that I made is very simple and basic I would say. It is rushed and it is sort of informative, the video also doesn't include texts and instructions of how to make a perfect hair cut and so on. This tutorial of mine would have turned out good if I had included texts and instructions, the would be way more informal and helpful for people who might be interested on becoming a barber one day.
I got all of the clips and putting them together making it into a tutorial. Also, I added music into the tutorial to make it even more entertaining for the viewers.
The feedback that I received was really helpful, it highlighted a variety of issues with the video, the issues are as follows; make the video a bit longer, pacing, and adding texts. I absolutely agree with these feedbacks as I do think that there is things in the video that I should have added. I will improve the video sometime in the future by adding texts and instructions to make it even more instructional and lengthening the video about 2 or 3 minutes as 8 seconds is not an appropriate duration for a tutorial.
Editing
The software that I used for this video was Adobe Premier Pro. I got the clips from a folder on Microsoft Teams and drag those clips into the software. As for the background music, I got that from a website called 'BenSound' and I choose one of the soundtrack that I need and then I downloaded it. The music should appear on your downloads and drag it to the editing software.
Film Practice
The filming process was to pick someone to be the customer (which was me) and other being the barber, pretending to cut my hair. The tools that the class as a whole used was scissors, brush, and a shaver. The person behind the camera would film close up shots to the equipment and the barber 'cutting' the hair, to show us how is supposed to be done.
The camera that we used was 'Cannon1200D'. ISO was 600 and the camera was in 'Manual Focus' and the audio was recorded with the built in microphones. The lighting that was used in the studio was house lighting.
