A tutorial is gonna take place at Salon Professionals. The tutorial is gonna be about how to cut hair like a pro and it is aiming at audiences who are potentially thinking about to become professional barber in the future. During filming, the whole place must be in silence not to distract anyone during filming and the shots must be still, so a tripod must be used in order capture the barber cutting the customers hair. In this circumstances, close-up shots will also be used in this tutorial to get the main the main attraction of the video. The overall review of this lemonade tutorial is pretty decent. The person behind it was really informative as he give us a basic information about how many teaspoons of sugar you supposed to add and how many lemons you should have etc. The tutorial adds texts in to tells us the quantity and how many minutes that the lemonade is supposed to be in the fridge. The shot that he used are medium close-up to capture the ingredients and adding them step by step, later in the video he did used medium shot of him putting the lemonade into the fridge to tells us how long the lemonade should sit in the fridge.

This one I must say is pretty dull. This tutorial doesn't include any subtitles, all that it does is shows us how to fold paper by each step to get to the final result. The shot that he or she used is extreme close-up to capture a perfect angle of him or her folding the paper to make an airplane step by step. The video doesn't include music and only thing that you can hear is the paper folds.

The last example is a brownie tutorial. The tutorial in itself is very informative as it gives us basic ingredients of a brownie, the texts of the ingredients appear when he or she puts the ingredients into a bowl and mixing them. Majority of the shots that are used for this video is over head-shot, they used this shot when they are putting the ingredients together and another shot that they also used is close-up shot for the brownies as soon as they were finished with it.
Evaluation
For my own barbering video, I would include steps to help my viewers of how you should start, do's & don'ts, and what equipment that is perfect for one particular hair cut. I might even include the origins of a specific hair cut like skin fade for example. The duration of my video will be about 3 minutes long, I choose this duration to prevent boredom and over kill of my intended target audience; if I have chosen my length or duration of my tutorial to be 40 minutes, my viewers would probably not even make it half-way through the tutorial so 3 minutes is all that I need for my tutorial.
The thing that I would be aware of when making this video is the pacing of the video because it is really important for my audience to understand and learn slowly, step by step and adding music into the mix to make the video really fun and entertaining to watch and learn. There is videos that I have seen that lack of excitement in them, although they were informative but its also important to show ambition and passion in my part for my viewers because I want them to show the charm and fun that barbering has.
Even though my tutorial can also be intended for viewers who would want to teach themselves how to make their own hair cut, my tutorial can also be used for an educational video for viewers who are considering becoming a barber as their job in the future, will find this tutorial really useful and helpful to learn new skills and new hair styles.
How do you developed your skills?: Before I started to do my tutorial, I did a practice video of the tutorial of the same subject, which is about how to cut hair. The only issue that the practice video had is that it was only 8 seconds long, which wasn't a propriate duration for a tutorial and I made another video with new clips and longer duration. By doing this practice videos before the real thing also helped me on my editing skills and I only had a few problems while editing but it was sorted at the end. What elements you have improved on?: The elements that I improved on were the duration. The practice video was only 8 seconds long and the clips that I used wasn't all that great. But the ones that I used for the real thing was way better because there was a manikin as our customer and also there was a guy called Mark came to our college as our barber. The group that I was in filmed a lot of clips that I would be needing for the tutorial such as the equipment etc and the v...
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7IsAER9ISrU The video that I made is very simple and basic I would say. It is rushed and it is sort of informative, the video also doesn't include texts and instructions of how to make a perfect hair cut and so on. This tutorial of mine would have turned out good if I had included texts and instructions, the would be way more informal and helpful for people who might be interested on becoming a barber one day. I got all of the clips and putting them together making it into a tutorial. Also, I added music into the tutorial to make it even more entertaining for the viewers. The feedback that I received was really helpful, it highlighted a variety of issues with the video, the issues are as follows; make the video a bit longer, pacing, and adding texts. I absolutely agree with these feedbacks as I do think that there is things in the video that I should have added. I will improve the video sometime in the future by adding texts and instructions to mak...
